How to plan a profitable weekend

Weekends are for:

1. Pleasure

2. Relaxation

3. Outings

4. Shopping

5. The absence of pressure or stress

7. Rest.

The 1-4 points concern physical activities to do the weekend for the continuation of pleasure, to relax, for outings, and go shopping. In detail, you can go with your children to their sports and leisure activities. You can go to the restaurant or have coffee with your partner, with or without children. You can play with your children. Here, you play the game they love with them and not what you impose by ensuring their security and well-being. You can catch up with unfinished things such as purchases not done, walk, family barbeque, go hiking, do the showcase. But avoid buying things you do not need. Be sure that it is an investment and not a useless expense in all you do. The investment can be material, physical, psychological, social or spiritual. Avoid making a significant change in your weekend expenses. Know how to control wisely your expenditure for outings, leisure, shopping, and pleasure. Give the best of yourself to your family because your families are unique. They need you more than you need them. Weekends must make these relationships more special.

You can also invest in learning. For example, you can have one or two hours learning cooking, other training or go to conferences. You can launch a secondary activity, help in the community or the congregation, call your extended family members or someone more intelligent or wise than you. These activities should not take you all day. Extra sleep does not mean sleeping all day but instead sleeping without alarm, and once your organic clock wakes up, get up and start your day. Sleep and lack of pressure promote good rest. To rest, you can spend more time in the shower or bathtub. You lie on a sofa, sitting in the garden, read a book, meditate, write, make a small bricolage, prepare a special recipe that does not ask for a lot of effort, talk to loved ones etc. If you want some advice for Sunday, you can find more information in the Bible, other books, links on the internet, etc. We go to the Church on Sunday morning, and after that, we rest as said above.

Finally, I will give you seven tips to follow/do the weekend:

1. Spend time with your family

2. Set expenditure limits

3. Relax, be flexible and balanced

4. Communicate with your loved ones

5. Define homework boundaries

6. Take care of yourself (physically, psychologically, and spiritually)

7. Be yourself.

Thank you, and God bless you.
